Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the motor vehicle bill of sale service operated by Elementra LLC("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our Service

We provide a simple online tool that lets you generate a motor vehicle bill of sale. You fill in the details, both parties sign electronically on the same device, pay once, and instantly download the signed PDF and editable Word document. We are not a law firm and we do not provide legal advice.

2. Electronic Signatures

You consent to using electronic signatures. Both the seller and buyer must sign on the same device before payment. Electronic signatures are legally binding under the federal ESIGN Act and applicable state laws, to the extent permitted.

3. Payment

Each bill of sale costs $9.99 USD. Payment is charged through Stripe when the seller completes the form, both parties sign, and checkout is finished. All sales are final except as described in our Refund Policy below.

4. Refund Policy

Because we deliver digital documents immediately after payment, refunds are limited.

Eligible for refund

  • A technical error on our side prevented you from downloading the document.
  • You were charged more than once for the same document.

Not eligible for refund

  • You or the buyer downloaded the signed PDF or Word document.
  • You entered incorrect information and want a new document.
  • Your DMV or any third party rejected the document.
  • You changed your mind after payment and download.

To request a refund, email hello@elementra.io within 14 days of payment. Include your name, the email used, and the reason. We review requests within 5 business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method (5–10 business days to appear).

5. Your Responsibilities

  • Enter accurate information. We do not verify ownership, VIN accuracy, odometer readings, or any other details.
  • Ensure both parties sign willingly and with proper authority.
  • Verify that the document meets your state’s DMV requirements.
  • Handle any sales tax, title transfer, or registration yourself.

6. Notarization

We do not offer notarization. We do not support Louisiana, Maryland, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, or West Virginia because these states require notarization for vehicle bills of sale. You are responsible for determining whether your state needs notarization and obtaining it if required.

7. No Warranty & Limitation of Liability

The service and documents are provided "as is." We make no guarantees that any DMV, lender, court, or third party will accept the document.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Elementra LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including rejected title transfers, financial losses, or disputes between buyer and seller. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us ($9.99).

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law rules.
